The Heart Behind the Journey
Before we plan your next journey, I'd love to share what inspired mine.
Waves of Sunshine Adventures was born from one simple belief:
Life is precious, and the greatest gift we can give the people we love is our time.
The beach has been the backdrop for so many of life's most meaningful moments for me. It's where I made treasured memories with my mom, where my husband and I built a life filled with simple adventures, and where I still go to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most.
Along the way, life has taught me that tomorrow isn't promised. Those lessons changed how I see the world—and they're the reason I became a travel advisor.
I don't just want to help you plan a vacation.
I want to help you create moments that become stories you'll tell for years to come.

We needed a hotel when we landed in Fairbanks ,Alaska the day before our land and sea cruise started. I love to travel the world! Sometimes as a family of 4 )with our two teens in tow), and sometimes just the two of us. This trip was after a whirlwind backpacking trip across 4 European countries in 18 days. The two of us decided a nice getaway sans kiddos was overdue! Our 17 day stay in the 15th arrondissement just 3 blocks from the Eiffel Tower was an absolute dream (10 min walk to both the tower and the Seine). The neighborhood was quiet and much less touristy. There was a fresh neighborhood street market almost daily. We enjoyed late nights around the city and sleepy late mornings visiting as many cafes as we could. We got to see all of the things on our list. We visited, this time, in November. I highly recommend!! Thanksgiving over a traditional 6-course French meal was amazing. We enjoyed sharing the city’s first snow of the season, along with several beautiful crisp 70 degree weather days. What a perfect and beautiful time of year! Thank you Marianne for finding us the perfect vacation!

Our recent Carnival Liberty cruise to Mahogany Bay, Honduras; Belize City; and Cozumel was made even better thanks to the outstanding service from Marianne Loftis at Waves of Sunshine Adventures LLC. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for us. Her expert advice not to book an excursion in Honduras and instead take advantage of the incredible snorkeling at the free pier and beautiful reef was spot on—we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! She also worked her magic to double our onboard credit and took care of all our boarding pass paperwork, even providing lanyards for added convenience. Marianne’s attention to detail and personal touch truly set her apart. She even sent a thoughtful Christmas card before our January cruise, which was such a nice gesture. She is a wealth of knowledge and was always available to answer my last-minute questions, making the entire process stress-free. If you’re looking for a travel agent, we recommend her!
